A 33-year-old man, Zhang Cheng (alias) has undergone a surgery to remove a huge tumour from his abdomen in Chengdu Military General Hospital on April 22, 2016.
Zhang, from southwest China’s Sichuan province noticed the tumour in 2004 and has seen it growing bigger and
bigger.
According to Dai Ruiwu, Zhang’s surgeon, the surgery was extremely risky due to high chance of heavy bleeding, and it takes six hours for experts from three clinical departments to collectively finish operation.
So far, Zhang is still in Intensive Care Unit for further observation.
