Empire was
renewed for a third season, the decision has been made due to impressive TV
ratings as well as 2016 Golden Globe Awards. It’s worth mentioning that

“Empire” season 2 is divided into two parts. The
second series consists of 18 episodes.
The mid-season finale of the TV series concluded on
December 2, 2015. According to the FOX channel’s winter schedule, “Empire”
season 2B is slated for March 30, 2016, and will debut at 9:00PM ET/PT. But the
FOX television network hasn’t yet revealed the season 3 release date.
