President Buhari has resumed work in Abuja after 5 days short vacation.
According to the statement issued by the special adviser to the president on
media and publicity, Femi Adesina.
He said “In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the Nigerian Constitution, President Buhari has since sent a formal notice of his resumption of duty with effect from Thursday, February 11, 2016, to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives respectively.
It would be recalled that President Buhari went on vacation on February 5 and expected to resume on February 11, 2016.
President Buhari he will resume his foreign tour on February 24, so he is expected to be in Nigeria for the next two weeks, but there are still plans for three-nation state visit to Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
While in Saudi Arabia, President Buhari is expected to perform the Umrah, as well as visit Makka and Madina.
