I Quit for Interest of Nigeria ‘Oliseh’


The former Nigeria World Cup star sensationally turned in his resignation letter, which was addressed to general secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mohammed Sanusi, and
dated February 25, 2016.

He was promised a rented apartment in Abuja for him and his two assistants after he was appointed in July 2015 have yet to be fulfilled.




He is also owed four months’ salary, while his assistants are also being owed for several months.


He also accused the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) of not giving him enough support to prepare the team for 

Next month’s all important AFCON qualifiers against seven time champions and qualifying group leaders Egypt.
He said he received so little help from the NFF and has been soldering on under unconducive working conditions”.

After his team failed to go past the group stage of the recent CHAN in Rwanda, Oliseh said they were not motivated enough to do so, he described the team as a car driving on an empty tank
