The
former Nigeria World Cup star sensationally turned in his resignation letter,
which was addressed to general secretary of the Nigeria Football
Federation (NFF), Mohammed Sanusi, and
dated February 25, 2016.
He was
promised a rented apartment in Abuja for him and his two assistants after he
was appointed in July 2015 have yet to be fulfilled.
He is
also owed four months’ salary, while his assistants are also being owed for
several months.

accused the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) of not giving him enough support
