At what age are you happiest?

People aged between 65-79 are believed to be the most content, claims new survey.
Research conducted by the Office for National Statistics (UK) found that on average, pensioners were ha
ppier than those aged between 40 and 59.
Experts believe middle aged people are under the most stress.
The Office for National Statistics found this age group were likely to be anxious as they were at a point of their life when they had the most pressure as care-givers.
Glenn Everett explained: “The low well being in middle-age might also suggest that those in this age group are struggling with double responsibility of caring for children and for elderly parents.”
Experts analysed data from 300,000 adults in the UK from 2012 to 2015, asking participants to rate how happy they were out of ten.
Researchers also ranked levels of life satisfaction by test subjects’ scores of happiness and anxiety. However, as participants hit 80, new worries, such as poor health, bereavement and loneliness sprung up.
